My little cookie monster

Blake enjoying his 1st chocolate chip cookie. Good thing I got some pictures in fast because the cookie was gone pretty quickly. Now I have to hide them because when they are in his view he really wants one. He must take after his daddy!

And he's off. Last Sunday Blake finally started walking. He started out a little shaky but hes getting a lot better. He actually prefers walking to crawling. Its so cute to see such a little guy walk. Eric was really excited! He was starting to think Blake wasn't going to walk ;) but I told him he would when he was ready and how he is a walkin' fool!

Blake's Stay at Mary Bridge

Well we are finally home after a 3 day stay at the hospital. Sunday night Blake was running a fever of 105 so I decided to take him to Mary Bridge just to be sure. We got there and they found a small rash and they thought it might be something pretty bad, they were thinking Meningitis. All his preliminary tests came back negative but they wanted to keep him for at least 36 hours to make sure that no bacteria was growing on the cultures.

After 36 hours all the cultures came back negative but he kept spiking fevers of 104 in a very short period of time and they would also drop quickly. The Dr. felt more secure for him to stay another night to make sure he was well hydrated and that the fevers would stabilize. Well all was good this morning and we were able to go home. Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Today was my birthday and it was a GREAT day. I got to spend time with my family and they surprised me with a new puppy. She is super cute. Also my amazing husband went out and got me a new camera and it takes great pictures. He is such a great guy!

We got Blake a little quad for his birthday and he loves it. These pictures and videos are a couple of weeks old when he was just learning. Now we put him on it and he will ride it up and down the neighborhood. He still can't turn it yet but its pretty cute seeing such a little guy riding around.

Blake did not want daddy to go to work tonight! It was kind of sad to see him banging on the laundry room door when he left.

My Little Artist!

I thought it would be fun to see if Blake would enjoy coloring. He kind of got the concept in the beginning after I showed him what to do. He is still little and got bored easily and tried to eat the crayon. I will have to try again in a month or two to see if he will like it any better :)
