Blake's Stay at Mary Bridge

Well we are finally home after a 3 day stay at the hospital. Sunday night Blake was running a fever of 105 so I decided to take him to Mary Bridge just to be sure. We got there and they found a small rash and they thought it might be something pretty bad, they were thinking Meningitis. All his preliminary tests came back negative but they wanted to keep him for at least 36 hours to make sure that no bacteria was growing on the cultures.
After 36 hours all the cultures came back negative but he kept spiking fevers of 104 in a very short period of time and they would also drop quickly. The Dr. felt more secure for him to stay another night to make sure he was well hydrated and that the fevers would stabilize. Well all was good this morning and we were able to go home.
